Myths surround the techno scene in the north, and Oliver Huntemann embodies them with cold precision and stripped-down efficiency. His music, forged in Hamburg rather than snowy forests, reflects shards of German engineering – linear, direct, and focused on the core: less is more, with a hint of grit.

Dubbed “bare and stripped to the metallic core,” his sound avoids empty minimalism by highlighting raw essentials. Huntemann has remixed acts like Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, and Underworld, and his long-standing collaboration with Dubfire has produced modern techno staples. Since 2016, his Watergate residency has lit up Berlin, while his sets span iconic clubs and festivals worldwide—from Brazil’s Warung to BPM in Mexico and Woogie Weekend in California.
