Vernissage: “You Shall Have No Other Gods Before Me”

A photographic exhibition that unfolds as an intimate ritual of images — suspended somewhere between light and body, between the post-Twilo era New York and an empty, ascetic studio that refuses ornament.

It touches on the reinterpretation of spirituality and the rewriting of pop culture history into the language of symbol.
Its inspirations reach back to the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s — times of brutal freedom, hedonism, deconstruction, and identity explosions. The lights of techno clubs, the sharp lines of brutalist architecture, bodies from fetish magazine spreads, and the echoes of nocturnal dance floors blend here with the sacred.
